iFilm English TV to bring ‘Jalal Edin’ to you

iFilm English TV channel has set to put ‘Jalal Edin’ series on air.

Airing of the series, produced by Mehdi Homayounfar and directed by Shahram Asadi as well as Arash Moayyerian, will start on July 24, 2022.

‘Jalal Edin’ depicts parts of the life of ancient Persian poet Jalaleddin Mohammad Balkhi, globally known as Mowlavi (AKA Rumi).

He is a 13th-century Persian poet, jurist, Islamic scholar, and theologian whose influence transcends national borders and ethnic divisions.

His poems have been widely translated into many of the world's languages and transposed into various formats.

Mowlavi has been described as the "most popular poet" and the "best selling poet" in the US.

The series cast list includes Atash Taqipour, Mahtaj Nojoumi, Alireza Khamseh, Ali Nasiriyan, Arash Majidi, Shabnam Moqaddami, Ali Dehkordi, Mohammad Feili, Esmaeel Khalaj, Mahmoud Jafari, Farideh Sepah-Mansour, Kazem Hazhir-Azad, Niki Nasiriyan, and Ladan Mostofi.

‘Jalal Edin’, made in 2014, is scheduled to replace the series ‘Stairway to Heaven’, to be broadcast daily at 23:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the drama the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00. The new series comprises of 11 episodes.
